Our commitment

We want PODE.expert to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as far as is reasonably practicable.

What we do

• The site uses clear, resizable text and aims for readable colour contrast.
• The directory is provided as a text-based, searchable and filterable list; the map is an optional extra rather than the only way to find an expert.
• Pages are designed to work on phones, tablets and desktops.

Known limitations

The interactive map is provided for convenience and may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies; all of the same information is available in the directory list, which is the primary way to browse experts.
